Coronavirus Update

As of Monday 23rd March 2020 Greenlands Surgery will have new safety measures in place to protect our patients and staff:

  • All patients requesting an appointment will be triaged via telephone by clinical staff and if necessary will be invited into the surgery for an appointment.
  • You will no longer be able to attend the surgery without prior approval.
  • Any paperwork or prescription requests can be left in the post box provided.
  • Please attend your appointments alone, if you need assistance please ring practice mobile on 07544177982 to inform our staff of your arrival.

What to do if you have Coronavirus Symptoms:

  • A high temperature – 37.8°c or above
  • A new continuous cough
  • Shortness of breath

LIVE ALONE: Please stay at home for 7 days if you have any of the above.
LIVE WITH OTHERS: All member of the household must stay at home for 14 days if one or more people have any of the above.

This will help to protect others in the community while you are possibly infectious.

DO NOT go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital while in isolation.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you are self-isolating.

For patients who fall into a vulnerable category; over 70, pregnant or those with underlying medical conditions, Social distancing has been advised for a period of 12 weeks. Vulnerable people should ensure they reduce unnecessary contact, travel and risk.
